Quasi-experimental Design Study Critique - I have chosen this exemplar because it aligns with critical appraisal of existing literature. This study critique is entitled, “Electronic Health Record Mortality Prediction Model for Targeted Palliative Care Among Hospitalized Medical Patients: A Pilot Quasi-experimental Study” by Courtright, et. al., which was published in the Journal of General Internal Medicine (2019). This was foundational to my quality improvement project.
